I'd like to draw every dear reader's attention to the fact that now the Electroneum (ETN)Windows-based computer runnable Electroneum Pool Miner application will be presented. Currently, the application is at version 1.2 Beta, so the screenshots are also from this version.
Warning! Most antivirus programs and the basic Windows Defender program also flag the downloaded program as a virus, and even the download
The first step is to visit the Electroneum main page: https://electroneum.com here from the menu bar select the Downloads menu item which provides direct access to the https://downloads.electroneum.com website, where we can find several important pieces of information about how to set up other programs.

However, let's stick with downloading the Beginner's Pool Mining Software for now. Once that's done, the installation begins. After the installation is complete, the Electroneum Pool Miner application shortcut will appear on the desktop.

Before we open the application, however, there are two important things to consider:
- We need to have an Electroneum (ETN) Wallet address; if we don't have one yet, quickly register an account to obtain the address: https://my.electroneum.com/register
- For registration, provide a real email address, phone number, security email address, and a memorable 5-digit PIN code. Keep in mind that providing this data ensures the Electroneum (ETN) Security of our wallet.
- Choosing a mining pool is also necessary since even the "factory program" requires selecting an independent mining pool that suits our needs from the following address: https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum-pool#pools-using-this-software
Currently, the list according to the current status, which can also be found on GitHub at the above address, is as follows:

Any pool from the above list can be chosen based on individual preferences and requirements. For the setup, I chose ProxPool: http://etn.proxpool.com I think it's perfectly fine for starters, and since there are relatively many users, payouts are also more frequent than with fewer users
By clicking on the Getting Started section on the site http://etn.proxpool.com/#getting_started we can see the required address: Mining Pool Address: etn-pool.proxpool.com
Choose a port according to your hardware. For this demo, since I'm not running it on a powerful machine, port 3333 — intended for basic performance machines — is sufficient. Consequently, we now have the exact address to paste or type into the downloaded and launched program: stratum+tcp://etn-pool.proxpool.com:3333

In the opened program, naturally Your ETN Wallet Addressis where we enter our own Electroneum (ETN) Wallet address, and below it in the Pool URLfield enter the above address, which is: stratum+tcp://etn-pool.proxpool.com:3333, # of Threadsis where we can set how many threads the program should use on our processor. Here it's sufficient to enter the number of physical cores. For example, with a dual-core quad-thread processor, there's no point setting it to 4 — 2 is enough. Of course, you can set it to 4 but it probably won't be any faster, and it will slow down the machine much more, making it difficult to do anything else while mining. All that's left is to click the Start Mining button and mining starts immediately, producing Electroneum (ETN) coins.
[box type="info"] It's that simple... With the basic program, without any extra settings or GPU (Graphics Card) involvement, of course. If you have questions, feel free to write them in the comments, we'll respond.[/box]

Hi!
How long did it take for the mined ETN to appear in the pending balance on the website? I started a few days ago but there's still no change.
Hi, mine appeared the next day but back then the difficulty was much lower than now. Using a calculator based on your machine's performance, you can estimate approximately when the minimum amount that gets displayed and sent to your ETN account will be reached.
Hi!
Thanks for the quick reply! I'm not asking about what gets sent to the wallet after reaching the minimum payout — the pending balance has shown 0 ETN for days. I'm starting to worry it's all worthless, although the hashrate is showing.

I understand what you're writing about, that's why I mentioned that due to the higher difficulty, the display can be much slower. What you mine won't disappear, it'll just be less and appear more slowly, since I got in near the beginning of the year. After collecting the first 100 ETN credits, I stopped because by then it would have taken almost a month for the first few weeks' worth to reach 100 credits. 🙂 Compared to the previous few days... Long story short, it will appear, don't worry. If you choose a faster pool, the mined amount will appear faster: https://nanopool.org
Thanks a lot! 🙂
