The Electroneum (ETN) website's main screen greets us with the news that, similar to the Minergate application, it will also offer mobile mining for Android and iOS device owners (in the future).

Currently, however, even though the Android availability is listed on the site and the program can be downloaded, the mobile mining function is not yet available. In parentheses, I'd like to note that due to the iOS Developer service's stricter conditions and the difficulties of running applications in the background, the phone mining feature will simply never run on iOS, i.e., Apple iPhone and iPad devices. Of course, there are currently applications that can harness the gigantic power hidden in phones, but without active cooling, unfortunately only a very low 5-40 Hash/s ratio can be achieved. Just quietly noting that smartphones aren't exactly designed to operate at maximum performance continuously.

According to the current state, the application is immediately downloadable for Android devices, and after logging in with our email address, password, and the 5-digit PIN code provided during registration, we can see our balance.

Additionally, we can choose from several languages, but unfortunately Hungarian is not yet available, so we're left with English or German. The Android application is currently at version 2.0.6.

Interestingly, the Android mobile Electroneum (ETN) applicationhas a referral option (Electroneum Referral code) for inviting someone to the system and receiving some kind of reward, however this feature is either not properly developed yet or doesn't work well. There's little information about it yet, but it looks promising that at least we have this option.

The application is easy to use, the interface is clean, and I think it's put together decently, assuming this can be said about a simple basic crypto wallet. In my opinion, nobody will have trouble using it – simple yet great.

The application is available in the Google Play Store and can be installed immediately: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.electroneum.mobile

  1. I just downloaded the app from the Play Store but I don't know how to start mining. Is there a description or video somewhere?
