An ad found on Jófogás already became suspicious just by looking at the price, since the Antminer S17 today (2019.07.05) can be obtained for over 1 million forints if new, and not in a state already "well-tested" by someone else.

We also wrote to the advertiser, who in broken Hungarian readily assured us that of course the transaction would also work with a courier:
Yes, it is certain that the courier can receive the miner, which is delivered to you in your country

There wouldn't be anything wrong with this in itself, however there is a problem with the fact that the product shown in the photos can also be found on a Russian marketplace (https://www.avito.ru/moskva/oborudovanie_dlya_biznesa/antminer_s17_56ths_-_v_nalichii_1117614604) with the same photos as those in the Jófogás ad.
Presumably the Russians didn't source the photos from Jófogás; rather, it happened the other way around. Naturally, the Jófogás-style Door-to-Door service doesn't work here, I suppose because there you actually have to send something, and you only have to pay once the package has arrived.

Conclusion: Never transfer money in advance, never buy from someone by paying in crypto to a person you don't know, especially when you might eventually receive the product? It's unfortunate that we've reached the point where "foreign scammers" are already spreading their nonsense on Hungarian marketplace sites and scamming people out of serious money for absolutely nothing.
If you do end up ordering after this and actually receive the product, please let us know as soon as possible in the comments section so we can see that there are still honest sellers in the world. 🙂
