NiceHash's New Platform Goes Live

NiceHash's new V2 platform, after initial difficulties,
is finally open to users producing in the EU area and preferring EU servers
as well. According to the company's announcement, everything is working well now.
Essentially, everyone needs to transition from the old system to the new one.

I'll write down the most important things now, but there will be a
complete summary of the new features and opportunities, but fundamentally
the principle and method remain the same, we're just getting smaller-bigger innovations and mostly
convenience features.

• The old platform could practically be used without any
  we can leave it without any hassle. If we register in the new
  system with the same email address we originally used in the old one.
• Based on the same email address, the mined
  funds remaining in the old system will also be transferred to the new account, or we transfer them to ourselves during the switch —
  that's a minor detail.

The addresses needed to access the algorithms will change as
follows:

• stratum+tcp://ALGO.LOCATION-new.nicehash.com:PORT
• Here, practically only -new is added to the
  address, everything else stays the same.

In practice:

• Old address e.g., for scrypt: stratum+tcp://scrypt.LOCATION.nicehash.com:3333

• New address also for scrypt: stratum+tcp://script.LOCATION-new.nicehash.com:3333
  • LOCATION: eu, usa, hk,
    jp, in, br

Since the complete system is new, except for our email address,
we need to set up 2FA (two-factor authentication) again, and
of course our mining address will also change, we'll get a new address. Pay attention to
this, because otherwise it will be working on the old system and we won't see
what's happening in our account. It's that simple.

I'll report on the new features later, but the initial
steps are worth taking as soon as possible, since the old one will be shut down sooner or later anyway,
and it's better not to scramble at the last minute.
