A few machines have become available to order again on the Bitmain website, which they'll ship even to Hungary with a March 2018 delivery deadline. The selection is also enriched by a new machine that, following in the S7's footsteps, offers Bitcoin mining capability with more modest performance at 4 TeraHash/second speed. The Bitmain AntMiner V9 is a mining machine using the SHA256 algorithm with which, among other things, we can mine Bitcoin.
To operate the machine, we need at least a 1600-Watt power supply, or the best and simplest option is to order a Bitmain APW3++ power supply alongside the machine, which provides sufficient energy for our V9 mining machine that unfortunately produces consumption figures similar to the S7 with more modest computing capacity.

This may not be a new machine; it's much more likely that due to the Chinese mining ban, the returned S7 machines are being partially or fully refurbished and made operational at lower performance for enterprising miners for some time.
What's certain is that it's a better deal now than buying an S7 from eBay or locally, but the question is what exactly we'll receive. If it's a refurbished machine that was previously running for years, the situation isn't that great. The first information will be the most important anyway — what exactly are the Chinese trying to sell us.
What's certain is that the chip type is different according to the description, but will this be the case in reality when we unbox the machine and see it? Or will something just be re-labeled? Nobody knows for sure yet, but let's hope that if we order, we'll receive a completely new machine.
