Bitcoin, Deribit és Polymarket: amikor az opciós piac és a predikciós piac szétválik

A lényeg

A Bitcoin opciós lejáratok, max pain szintek és predikciós piacok együtt már nem zajt adnak, hanem több nézőpontú piaci jelzőrendszert.

In Short

Bitcoin’s trading picture is increasingly impossible to read from one metric. Options expiries, max-pain levels, ETF flows, prediction markets and spot liquidity all shape what finally appears on the chart as a single candle.

The divergence between Deribit and Polymarket signals is therefore interesting. One shows professional derivatives positioning, the other shows collective probability expectations. When they diverge, it is worth paying attention.

The Role Of Options Expiry

Large options expiries do not automatically move price, but they concentrate positioning. Market makers hedge, traders close or roll positions, and open interest reveals where large expectations have built up.

For the June Deribit expiry, several sources pointed to roughly $10 billion in options notional and a max pain level around $72,000 while spot Bitcoin traded much lower. That is a useful example: max pain is context, not a magnet.

What Prediction Markets Add

Prediction markets work differently. They do not start from strikes and hedging, but from what participants are willing to bet money on. Sometimes they react to sentiment faster than traditional derivatives structures.

But prediction markets are not infallible. Liquidity, manipulation attempts and self-fulfilling psychology can distort them. They should not be followed blindly, but ignoring them completely is not wise either.

KriptoBlog.hu View

Crypto market signals have become richer, but not simpler. The more data we see, the more important it becomes to know what each signal is actually for.

Max pain should be context, not a trading plan. Prediction markets should be sentiment gauges, not certain futures. Decisions also need spot volume, funding, ETF flows and liquidation data.
