\nADA currently trades at $0.1604 according to CoinGecko, down 5.1% in the last 24 hours \u2014 meaning the 12% weekly bounce has already cooled off. Market capitalization sits at $5.97 billion, a painful reality compared to its former $30+ billion peak. And it's precisely in this tension \u2014 between an approaching development milestone and the quiet flight of capital \u2014 that Cardano deserves a closer look right now.\n<\/p>\n
\nThe 12% move is technically impressive, but it needs context. In our April coverage, we already noted that ADA had sunk more than 90% from its peak. From there it slid further, touching a six-year low before the current move kicked in.\n<\/p>\n

So while the price moved up, smart money \u2014 those actively using Cardano's DeFi layer \u2014 was pulling capital out.\n<\/p>\n

\nIt's important to be honest here: a 5.1% drop immediately following a 12% bounce is not a trend reversal \u2014 it's closer to the opposite. Bounces deserve to be taken seriously when they're accompanied by sustained strength across multiple days, with higher lows and higher highs. There's no sign of that yet for ADA.\n<\/p>\n
